If the product/service can really help the reader they will more than likely make a purchase through your link. When looking for what affiliate programs you should apply to study your competition and use the tools in this article to see what links are affiliate links and consider applying for those programs. I had a couple of programs that did not accept me in the beginning but as my traffic increased I applied later and got accepted.
